We are delighted to confirm that Dr Bill Maxwell, Transitional Chief Executive of Education Scotland will deliver the keynote at 2.30pm on Thursday 22nd September.

This session will present the rationale underlying the development of Scotland’s new integrated education improvement agency, Education Scotland. Drawing on evidence about the current level of performance and development of the Scottish education system, and with reference to international evidence about the most effective way of improving systems to the highest levels of performance, Bill will outline how the new agency is being designed to maximise its impact in supporting the delivery of better learning outcomes through promoting a virtuous cycle of evidence-based improvement in education practice.
