With over 160 seminars, an innovative twilight programme and more than 200 exhibitors, the Scottish Learning Festival 2010 was the biggest and best Learning Festival ever resulting in nearly eight hundred more delegates than last year.

SLF 2010 has proven itself as popular as ever with the education community from both home and abroad. This year delegates travelled from as far afield as New Zealand, Australia, Paraguay, and all over Europe to attend Scotland’s most popular educational event. Closer to home each Local Authority was well represented.

The new and innovative Scottish Education Village layout proved a huge success with delegates who had the opportunity to speak directly to education specialists from LTS, HMIE, SQA and Scottish Government. Showcasing all the work that goes on within these four key organisations, the stand offered visitors the chance to interact and engage with all the latest technologies, with demonstrations from the Glow team, Scottish Government and the LTS Game Based Learning team.
