Focus on China

We are delivering a workshop in Edinburgh on Tuesday 22nd of November (4-6pm) looking at comparing themes in Dickens to contemporary Chinese writers. The workshop will provide teachers with the opportunity to explore a new Education Pack outlining ideas and activities for use with students aged 7 – 16. http://schoolsonline.britishcouncil.org/dickens2012.

Schools with existing China links are eligible to apply for up to £1,500 to plan future joint curriculum projects based on the use of the Dickens Education Pack. Deadline is 16 January 2012. http://schoolsonline.britishcouncil.org/dickens2012
