MoreApplications are open for the Transversal study visits programme, a part of the European Union’s Lifelong Learning programme which is specifically targeted at Education managers and specialists. It consists of group study visits of around a week duration, which take a group of managers from different countries on a themed programme of activity in a European town or city. For example, a week looking at ICT innovation in a region of the Czech Republic. These visits have enabled many Scots to gain a valuable professional development experience in Europe.
The catalogue of visit opportunities is available for download from the UK Transversal website, which also provides background details and links to the online application process. The closing date for applications is 30th April 2008.
