Channel 4 Education have updated the details of their Educational Briefing.
On Thursday 25 Sepember they are hosting 3 sessions starting at 12.30 with a networking lunch.
At 1.15 there is ‘Sex-Ed Up! discussing “How and when should we teach our children about sex?”
At 2.30 there is the C4 Education Showcase launching a series of new projects which are breaking new ground in public service broadcasting, education and the use of social networking services.

We are pleased to announce that Channel 4 Education, one of our lead sponsors, are giving an Educational Showcase with the title of “Here we come!” Channel 4 Education Showcase.
Matt Locke, Commissioning Editor and his team will be available to showcase some of the innovative, cross platform projects, games and web based services they are commissioning for 2008/9. They will be focussing on issues derived from young people’s needs and desires that may be outside the more formal education curriculum. This will be taking place at 12.30 on Thursday 25 September. Tree of Knowledge joins the Scottish Learning Festival 2008 and takes on their inaugural role as lead sponsor.
Tree of Knowledge delivers unique pupil workshops, fun-filled learning experiences for staff and work in partnership with Local Education Authorities to create exciting ‘hands on’ resources.
This year, for the first time, Tree of Knowledge has teamed up with North Lanarkshire Learning and Leisure services to develop a wonderful new resource specifically for Early Years. ‘Peapodo for Early Years’ will be launched at the Scottish Learning Festival this September.
