For a reminder of just how good they were, see the video of the performers from Knightswood School who took to the stage in the Clyde Auditorium last week.
Introduced as an example of what the Curriculum for Excellence can achieve in practice, they performed before the first keynote speech by Fiona Hyslop, MSP (also available on the video page of the SLF website).

Young Radiowaves reporters will, again, be out and about during SLF, interviewing speakers and presenters.
Pupils from 2 schools in Fife will record, edit and publish their interviews live from the SECC. The schools were chosen from the winners of the End of Term Awards 2009.
Examples of previous work
Pupils were asked to create an audio documentary about environmental issues. They scripted, recorded and edited these pieces with music and sound effects.
- The Future is Unwritten: Rimbleton Primary School
- Don’t Break My Heart!: Kirkcaldy High School
We look forward to hearing the results this year.

The Merchant City Festival runs from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 September, City Centre, Glasgow
For those of you visiting Glasgow for the Learning Festival, why not extend your stay to take in the wide variety of international performances and exhibitions that are in the Merchant City Festival programme.
There is an urban feel to the festival, that includes street theatre, music, dance, comedy and visual arts. In addition, there will be the return of the hugely popular French Market in Candleriggs.
