Last chance to amend registration details

With the start of the new term, it is time for us to mail your delegate badge. Friday 28 August is the last chance for you to amend your registration details before your badge is mailed to you. To help reduce the carbon footprint of SLF 2009, we will not be issuing seminar tickets; your badge is all you need to get entry to the sessions you have registered for. Please keep your badge safe and bring it with you to SLF 2009.

The Healthier Scotland Focus on Food Cooking Bus

The Healthier Scotland Focus on Food Cooking Bus is attending The Scottish Learning Festival to showcase its work.
The Cooking Bus travels throughout Scotland teaching pupils, teachers, parents and community members cooking skills, healthier eating, food safety and hygiene and where food comes from.
At SLF, delegates can sign up for a training workshop. This session may be of particular interest to primary teachers as it support them in terms of some of the skills required for implementation of the practical ‘hands on’ element of the Food and Health framework within Curriculum for Excellence.
The session will take place at 10.45 and will last approx 1 hour. There will be one workshop per day.

With the start of the new term, it is time for us to mail your SLF delegate badge and copy of SLF News.
To help reduce the carbon footprint of the event seminar tickets are not being issued this year. Your delegate badge has information about the sessions you have booked for and will give you entry into the exhibition and conference sessions.
Delegate packs will be mailed out at the start of September, look out for yours in the post. The mailing will also contain a copy of SLF News, which gives you all the latest information about what to see and do and will help you plan your day at SLF 2009.
