Glow will also be the only place you can find ‘Conference in Pictures’.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jesse Rae and Brick FM will be broadcasting live by ISDN  from the Scottish Learning Festival 2008.</p>
<p>Presented by the &#8216;POWER GROUP&#8217; of two schools in the Borders (One primary and one secondary), they will turn the SECC into a Global Radio Station, connecting with schools as far away as Africa and the USA.  Individuals or groups of students from other countries will be invited to take turns at presenting their own programmes. This will be in the form of reading, singing, music and in their own language.<br />
The &#8216;POWER GROUP&#8217; back in Scotland will record the Global shows in real time and cut live to CD for the broadcast around Glasgow area on Brick FM <strong>105.5 FM</strong>.</p>
<p> A live feed will be available via the <a href="http://www.ltscotland.org.uk/slf/index.asp" title="SLF website">Scottish Learning Festival website</a> during the event and Jesse Rae will present the seminar <a href="http://www.ltscotland.org.uk/slf/chooseseminars/s1c.asp" title="Be yer sel seminar details">&#8216;Be yer sel&#8217;</a> on Wednesday 24 September at 1.30 pm.</p>

<li>To inform healthy eating messages to school children in an engaging way by providing interactive cooking sessions during term time and taking part in projects during the school holidays.</li>
<li>To take account of the needs and views of disadvantaged groups and reduce inequalities by enabling and encouraging cooking skills and giving people confidence and independent living skills.</li>
</ul>
