Due to the high volume and quality of submissions received for the SLF 2009 conference programme, the detailed selection process has taken longer than first expected and the SLF team will advise those who submitted proposals of the outcome of the selection as soon as possible.

MoreThanks to everyone who submitted proposals for this year’s SLF conference programme. The call for participations is now closed and over 300 submissions were received.
The SLF planning team will now identify the sessions to be included in the conference programme. Further information about the programme will be available in early March.

January is speeding by, and the deadline for the Call for Participation for SLF 2009 is only one week away.
The Scottish Learning Festival is the most prestigious educational event in Scotland and this year we are celebrating the 10th anniversary. This is your opportunity to present at the key educational event in Scotland.
Over the years, SLF has grown from an event attracting 1200 delegates, with four keynotes, 40 sessions and a small exhibition, to the conference we have today with over 7000 delegates, over 170 conference sessions and an exhibition of 200 suppliers.
The Call for Participation documentation is available from the SLF website; this gives full details of the themes for the 2009 conference, the submission process and deadlines.
Abstracts are to be submitted by Friday 30 January 2009. If you would like any more information please contact the SLF team. We look forward to hearing from you.

MoreThe deadline for submissions for SLF 2009 has been extended until Friday 30 January 2009 with approved abstracts being invited to present at the conference by Monday 2 March 2009.

Go to the SLF website to download the documentation needed for proposals for presentations at SLF 2009. Details include the submission form , examples to follow, conference themes and deadlines.
Forms should be returned by Friday 19 December 2008 now 30 January 2009 – see newer blog post, and approved submissions will be invited to present at the conference by Friday 13 February 2009 now Monday 2 March 2009.
