“Here we come!”

Channel 4 logoWe are pleased to announce that Channel 4 Education, one of our lead sponsors, are giving an Educational Showcase with the title of “Here we come!” Channel 4 Education Showcase.

Matt Locke, Commissioning Editor and his team will be available to showcase some of the innovative, cross platform projects, games and web based services they are commissioning for 2008/9.  They will be focussing on issues derived from young people’s needs and desires that may be outside the more formal education curriculum. This will be taking place at 12.30 on Thursday 25 September. Further information and booking available through the seminar page.

Register now banner in image library We have prepared some graphics that you can use on your blog posts and other social media, to promote the Scottish Learning Festival 2008.

Please visit the image library on the website to download your own copies, and see a selection of photographs from previous events.

Remember to keep using the SLF2008 tag on all posts, presentations and images relating to the event so that we can cross reference all your views.

Sharing content

Connected LIVE

    TeachMeet ’07

    TeachMeet logoAs a fringe event during the Scottish Leaning Festival, you will be able to visit, and hopefully contribute to TeachMeet ’07.

    The event will start at 6.30pm on September 19 at the Glasgow Science Centre (opposite the SECC), where you can share your own seven minute story highlighting something interesting or different in your teaching.

To view a list of all recordings – please go to the RSS feed page. Copy and paste the address (http://www.ltscotland.org.uk/rss/settpodcasts.xml) into your podcast catching software to subscribe to this feed.  All available recordings are being made available at once.
