The Healthier Scotland Cooking Bus

The Scottish Cooking Bus will be stationed in the exhibition hall in the new Health and Wellbeing Zone on both days. A wide range of activities will take place on the bus, including pupil workshops. Further details to follow soon.
The Scottish Cooking Bus is funded by the Scottish Government in partnership with the Food Standards Agency (Scotland). The aim of the cooking bus is:
- To inform healthy eating messages to school children in an engaging way by providing interactive cooking sessions during term time and taking part in projects during the school holidays.
- To take account of the needs and views of disadvantaged groups and reduce inequalities by enabling and encouraging cooking skills and giving people confidence and independent living skills.
