Twenty years ago the Berlin wall came down, to mark the occasion, the Goethe Institute Glasgow and the Alliance Française are gathering Prof. Andreas Gestrich and Prof. Pierre Grosser, respectively Director of the German Historical Institute of London and Chair of international relations at Sciences Po Paris. Both experts, who witnessed these historical events, can now assess the magnitude of the changes they triggered in Germany and across the whole of Europe. The panel will be moderated by Neil Mitchisson, head of the European Commission’s office in Scotland.
