Created by the Goethe-Institut to mark the 25th anniversary of R.W. Fassbinder’s death in 2007 , this exhibition consists of 8 prints of original German film posters (The Marriage of Maria Braun; Fear Eats the Soul; Veronica Voss; Lola; Effie Briest; Katzelmacher; Martha; Lili Marleen), and 12 statements by international film directors about Fassbinder’s work and its influence on them. (Fatih Akin, Ferid Boughedir, Atom Egoyan, Aki Kaurismaki, Stanley Kwan, Mike Leigh, Jack Lewis, Francois Ozon, Chan-Wook Park, Thomas Piard, Istvan Szabo, Dinko Tucakovic.
