The Charles de Gaulle Bursary Scheme is managed by the British Council and provides funding of up to £1000 for individual students, aged 17 to 19, to undertake a four-week study project in France. 

The project can relate to any aspect of the French language or culture. Applicants can choose a subject matter that is not necessarily academic but that is of interest to them. An information/application leaflet on the scheme and poster can be downloaded (see below).  The closing date for the receipt of applications is 31 January 2009.
