Have your say on the new Gaelic channel

With the Gaelic Digital Service (MG ALBA) starting in September, there is an opportunity for Gaelic speakers to voice their opinions of the programmes broadcast on the new channel.

Anyone aged over 16, resident in Scotland with at least some ability in Gaelic and access to digital television is invited to join the viewers panel. Taking part would mean completing an online diary and rating any programmes viewed (contributers will be entered into a £100 prize draw every month).

    Bhiodh uidh mhor agam anns an sianal ur, oir a-reir coltais rinn iad torr gus programan inntinneach, a-mach as an abhaist, ura a dheanamh air ar son. Gu mi-fhortunach chan fhaigh a’ mhor-chuid dhuinn na programan ud air sgath ’s nach eil ceangal sky no eile againn, agus nas miosa nam bheachd-sa, bidh againn a phaighaidh air an son tri turasan (tro cisean na staite, cisean tbh agus cisean sky no ceangal digideach eile). Mar sin ’s e call mor a bhios ann agus bidh gle bheag de dhaoine a’ coimhead air – leisgeil eile airson na bleigeartan (BP) ann an Lunnainn a radh nach eil daoine sam bith a’ coimhead air (gu ceart, ach chan ann air sailleamh mi-run no dith uidh nan Gaidheil), agus mar sin theid buidseatan ar sianail a ghearradh sna blidhnaichean romhainn!

    Im looking foraward to it (sorry im no writing thisin gaidhlig but ive only been learning a yeasr, with anylucj ill be fluent in the next 3 years. Get plenty of Gaildhlig music on the channell, Julie Folwis would inspire anyone man to learn opur beuatiful cannan.
