The Isle of Wight Conference 2007

The annual Isle of Wight Conference will take place on Saturday 13 October. The lead practitioner will be Joe Dale and topics covered will include:

  • Blogging and podcasting
  • Digital video
  • eTwinning
  • Primary languages
  • Presentation software
  • Interactive whiteboards/classroom performance system
  • One stop animation
  • Rhythm and song
  • Assessment for learning
  • Enhancing memory/learning styles

Aims and objectives:

  • To provide teachers from the local area and further a field with appropriate practical training by outstanding practitioners
  • To strengthen local networks
  • To raise awareness of the potential of ICT for enhancing language learning

There will be a free show-and-tell session on Friday 12 October for everyone attending the conference.
