What is meant by likely impact?

Comments: none

In the likely impact area, you should enter how the activity is likely to improve your professional practice. For example;

  • how will it improve my relations with colleagues?
  • who will benefit from me doing this CPD activity?

For most educators, the impact should be seen on learning.

What activity details should I enter?

Comments: none

In the Activity details area enter a brief description of the activity you aim to undertake. These might include:

  • the outcomes of the activity
  • what you will do during the activity
  • who will provide the activity or support you.

What is a mode?

Comments: none

The mode is how you undertake the CPD activity, e.g. observation, action research or face to face course. You can see a complete list in both the drop-down list in CPDReflect and below.

Notes:

  1. Blended should be selected where there is more than one mode in the activity, e.g. a course that has a combination of face to face seminars and online activity
  2. If you are unsure, select other. If you think you have a mode that should be on the list then drop us a line at cpdanswers@ltscotland.org.uk
