I am a CPD manager in a Scottish local authority…
September 28th, 2009Welcome to CPDReflect
CPDReflect is an online toolkit for reflecting on educational practice. Most CPD managers will know of CPDReflect from the discussions on the CPD network. Have a look at the 5 things you should know about CPDReflect before you go any further. Here are the additional features offered to a CPD manager in a Scottish local authority:
- you can approve examples of practice added by your colleagues at local level only.
- you can add a local framework for use in your authority, eg an local authority improvement plan or a role-specific framework. This can then be illustrated with examples of interesting practice. All your colleagues can study them, search them and even add their own practice for others to see!
- you can identify yourself as a CPD manager on sign-up. Remember, you can get support at any time from Con Morris of the National CPD Team.
- There is a CPDReflect users group on Glow. This will have more information on the creative ways that CPDReflect is being used throughout Scottish education.
