How do I search CPDFind?

You can search CPDFind using a simple search or an advanced search

Simple search

Enter one or more keywords on the simple search page

Advanced search

To be more specific, use the more search options. This will let you narrow down your search by:

  • coverage (where in Scotland the CPD is available)
  • role (what you do)
  • sector (which part of education you work in)
  • delivery (what type of CPD you are being asked to do)

If you can improve on this advice, please leave a comment, thanks!

Would it not serve better if you could search subject or department areas as well so don’t need to trail though loads of extra stuff to find course relevant to you

Thanks for the comment Barney. We did look at this in the development of CPDFind but we thought that would make it unwieldy. There are dozens of curricular / subject areas. We have opted for a keyword approach, so that a search term like ‘physics’ should do the trick. If you have any more thoughts on how this might like we are always looking to improve CPDFind. Just drop me a line at c.morris@ltscotland.org.uk.

    Thanks
    Con
