If you want to get a great sense of why Scotland is perfectly poised to lead the way in education then you only need to look to her history. Ewan’s argument is that we have always been at the forefront, that it is in our nature.

Ewan’s presentation was first presented earlier this year at Alan November’s Building Learning Communities conference in USA, but in typical Ewan fashion, he’s been working on it and brought it bang up to date - to the extent that it even includes photos from last night! In essence, Ewan explains how we have a tradition of storytelling and that blogging is a natural, if not inevitable extension of that. What sets his words apart is his ability to synthesize disparate material and examples so that we are lucky enough to get a clear view of the power and impact that blogging has.

You owe it to yourself to read what he has to say and grab the associated slides as soon as they become available. Highly recommended!
