Welcome to LTS Blogs, the home for all of Learning and Teaching Scotland’s blogging activity.
As a learning organisation and a key player in promoting emerging technologies in schools, LTS welcomes and encourages staff to use blogs for their work and the sharing of their expertise.
LTS has a number of active bloggers – some write blogs to support the LTS website, and some have personal blogs. Now you can find them all from the LTS Blogs home page. If you’re new to blogs and wonder what all this is about, there’s a good introduction on the BBC Blogs Network.
Although LTS has been using blogs for a while, we’re still learning. If you have any feedback about what we’re doing and how it could be better, please get in touch.
LTS welcomes different viewpoints, provided they are offered politely and constructively. You can leave a comment on any of our blogs and on any other LTS page where you see the comment field at the bottom.
For the comment to be published you need to fill in the Name and Comment fields. You can also add your role, email address and a link to your website if you have one. Your email address will not be published, but it will help us get back to you if you would like a reply. Leaving a note of your name, role and website can help others to understand who you are and where you’re coming from.
Your personal information will not be reused or passed on to anyone else.
The comments on LTS sites are moderated. Some are post-moderated (checked after publication) and some are pre-moderated (only published after approval by a member of LTS staff). We aim to approve comments within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
We will not publish anything that is:
Commenting will normally remain open indefinitely but we reserve the right to close comments on a particular page or post if a discussion has run its course.
LTS blogs use the open source Wordpress publishing platform.
